I am so tired of life right now. Too much has happened to me lately. Despite repeatedly requesting that I get child support enforcement, I finally found out that they hadn't reopened my case. Theoretically they are sending me the paperwork so it WILL get reactivated, but considering I thought they were going to do that months ago, I'm not holding my breath. If I don't have the papers this week, I'll call them again. I also found out they are shutting my internet off. I use a Verizon wireless care to access the net. I live in the middle of nowhere and we don't even have a phone line run to the mobile home we are living in. I connect at 14.4 through what is basically a cellular modem. It's expensive, $60 a month. And they are shutting me off. Why? Because I upload stuff. Not even illegal stuff. Apparently in the fine print of the contract it says that the connection is to be used for e-mail and surfing the web. You can even download legal songs and stuff. But no uploading of anything or streaming video or audio. Well, I'm an artist and so is Nina. We upload our stuff to www.deviantart.com in the hopes that one day somebody will buy one of our prints. We had no idea we couldn't upload our pictures and stuff. So, as of the 11th, they are cutting off our internet. No warnings, just simply cancelling our account. I've found a Sprint wireless deal so that we can get access still, but I don't have the cash for it. It's going to cost around $150 to get it started and prolly require a deposit of $150. I'm trying to sell my comic books so we can do it but so far there's no bids on them on eBay. Hell of a 39th birthday present, eh? Yeah, that's the icing on the cake. I turn 39 on the 19th. It SUCKS.
