I was on a quest to find someplace where I could make my own ring tones and download them for free. I found all kinds of crap, most of which requiring you to sign up for free then the fine print states you will be charges X amount of $s monthly... :P I am one of those people who thinks FREE should actually mean FREE. So, I finally found a place. It's http://www.myxertones.com/. I've been uploading some of my fractal art for download as phone wallpaper. Some I am charging for and some I'm not. One of the free ones is at [send wallpaper] . You only pay for the download fee, as long as your phone is compatible with their system (for example, my wireless carrier charges 25 cents per download of pictures or ring tones). My nickname on Myxertones is reddishes, so feel free to go and browse and/or buy. You can also visit http://12of8.deviantart.com/ and browse some of my artwork and even buy prints of some. I know, this sounds more like a commercial than a blog entry, but I'm trying to earn a bit of extra cash on the side because being broke sucks.

Well, Nina's school finally found her records. Thank god. Now I don't have to kill anyone. This is always a good thing. She started school and has been loving it. This was a very good move for her.

My seeds are beginning to sprout. I have three apple trees sprouted so far. I also have two wisteria sprouted. I believe I will have three more wisteria sprouting before the end of the weekend. The frogs began singing today and this makes me very happy. I know that once the frogs begin singing that it's almost really spring. It's been very nice the past few days here and it's supposed to get cold again this weekend but with the frogs singing it's like there's hope that it will soon be warm out.

I'm having one of THOSE days. Nina is supposed to be starting school at the new school tomorrow morning. Her old school sent a note saying they couldn't find any of her physical or immunization records. So we went to do all that this morning. We ended up being at the doctor's office for an hour and a half because they kept insisting they didn't have her immunization records either. Till finally somebody from medical records showed up and said that anything prior to the installation of the computer system in 1999 might not be in the computer and just still on paper. Not even her immunizations after 1999 are in the computer. I was just about to loose my patience. I had to keep explaining that Nina's pediatrician left the area when Nina was a baby and we had all her records transferred here and they kept trying to tell me they weren't there. Well, they finally found some in the computer and said they would check storage for more. So then we take the stuff we got and drop it off at the school. where they tell me that she can't start school till Monday because I can't get a copy of her birth certificate till Friday. She is supposed to start tomorrow. I told them I'm on disability and can't pay for a copy till Friday so that's why they told me Monday. Then I get an irate call from the school demanding to know why she's not starting till Monday. I told the lady it's cause when I was out there and turned her paperwork in they told me she could not start school till Monday. She was acting like it was MY fault that Nina couldn't start till Monday and I tried to make it very clear that I was told by their office that she couldn't start till Monday. I guess they will call me back and let me know what in the hell is going on. I'm getting close to the point where I want to choke the life out of somebody.
